Some people may think that Yamaha are a motorcycle company who have turned to musical instruments but in fact quite the opposite is true.

Yamaha have been making musical instruments since 1887, just look at their logo, it is three "tuning forks".

I bought my first Yamaha in the mid seventies (a trumpet) and in the early nineties my first proper electric guitar, and was blown away by the quality.

Since then I have owned and collected many Yamaha electric guitars, (see "Our Collection")

For me they represent one of the best-hidden secrets of the guitar world when it comes to build quality and value for money. It's well documented that Yamaha was the first Japanese company to gain credibility for it's guitars and have produced many award winning models since,:- ......Pacifica.....SG.........MSG to name but a few.
